I don't know any but isn't it an option using another format (like collada, 3ds, obj) for the maps?

Yes, it is. Thank you for your answer assainator. I 've just spent my evening "googling" about the ".obj" format.

From what I understand:

1. I will have to use a program like "Blender" to create the 3d models, then
2. Export the models in an ".obj" file and, finally
3. Create a ActionScript "importer" in order to load the models in flash.

Am I right for the above? Is there anything more, less or different that I should do in order to create the mini golf courses in 3d?

Yeah, you understand it correctly.

As for making a 3d game in general, you also need these:
- physics -> To check for collisions and calculate their results, also responsible for things like gravity.
- Graphics -> to render the 3d models
- UI -> for score, etc.
- AI -> Nobody likes a game without an opponent to win from.
- Audio -> A nice tune on the background is always nice

As you're using flash, some of them are easy (UI, Audio). Also, I think I saw a one or two graphics and physics engines for flash a while ago, so if you'd like to use a pre-made library, those could be of use.
