Does direct x only accept "SimpleVertex" ?

Recommended Posts

Does direct x 10 support "SimpleVertex" only? I'm thinking probarbly not but do you if and how it supports vertex arrays like in open GL

e.g. Open GL vertex arrays:
float
vertArray[] = {

0.7,0,1.2,
0.64575,-0.27475,1.2,
0.636741,-0.270917,1.23691,
0.636741,-0.270917,1.23691,
0.690234,0,1.23691,
0.7,0,1.2,
0.690234,0,1.23691,

i wonder where you got that idea from?
Anyway.. to answer your question.. the opposite is true, DX has been "vertex array" _ONLY_ API for more than 10 years.
