Hi. I'm new here and wanted to show off a game I've been working on.

It's called [url="http://www.zombox.net"]Zombox[/url] and it's an open world zombie sandbox game with a fully destructible environment, vehicles, hundreds of items and weapons and more.

It's being developed with Unity and will eventually be released on iOS as well with Unity's web player.

I post weekly updates on the [url="http://www.zombox.net"]Zombox devblog[/url], and regular updates to my [url="http://www.youtube.com/user/ivanisavich"]Youtube channel[/url] with progress videos. [url="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qp1g_uh5MLs"]Here is the latest update video[/url] showing improvements to the weapon system as well as a few other things.

Did some more work on [url="http://www.zombox.net"]Zombox[/url] this week.

Improved some of the AI and pathfinding so it works faster on iOS devices with more zombies.

Also improved the physics...objects and zombies can be pushed into water ([url="http://www.zombox.net/stuff/zombox_cap_02.gif"]click this link for a clip of it[/url]) and weapons can damage the environment (walls can be broken down, doors can be smashed down, etc.

Here's a bit of a behind-the-scenes look at Zombox's object pooling system, which manages to maintain a huge sprawling environment, full of hundreds of destructible objects, on iOS devices with no in-game load times.

I used 3dsmax for the modelling.

As for an Android version, I don't currently have plans for one, although Unity has Android support....so if there's enough demand, I might port a version for it.

Character customizations have been added to [url="http://www.zombox.net"]Zombox[/url]. The main character can now be dressed in various clothes, including over 60 hats, shirts and pants. Each clothing item provides a unique bonus to the character's stats. Some items provide extra armor, some provide extra hit points, some increase speed, some increase the chances to land a critical hit, some increase attack and others regenerate health.

The clothing items, like all items in the game, can be found throughout the world.

More updates have been made to [url="http://www.zombox.net"]Zombox[/url]!

-been working on building interiors...about half of the interior models are complete

-controls added to allow the player to rotate the camera

-doors must now be manually opened/closed

-Worked further on modeling building interiors.

-Got an object interaction system prototype working. When the player touches an object he/she can interact with, it begins to glow and a context-sensitive icon appears in the top right of the screen which can be pressed.

This week in Zombox development:

1) Items can be scavenged from various props in the environment using the new interaction system.

2) New food items have been added. These will boost health when eaten.

Collectible coins (Zombucks) have been added to the [url="http://www.zombox.net"][b][u]Zombox[/u][/b][/url] world, which are dropped by zombies after they are killed. Eventually, you'll be able to use them to purchase weapons and items from NPCs

Also, empty areas of the city have been populated with grass, trees and other foliage.

Very cool. I also make zombies games. My favorite genre. I think this will be very cool. I love the graphics, violence, smashable environment.
Too bad I only have PC. THis sems like a game right up my alley.:(

Lots of new [URL="http://www.zombox.net"]Zombox[/URL] updates this week!

Here's a sample of the changes:

-broken bridges, dead end streets and building fences added to the environment.
-lots of new items added to the world, including rotten/fresh food items, ripped/clean clothing items. The stats of each item is dependent on its quality. A rotten apple, for example, will not replenish as much HP as a fresh one. The game now features over 650 unique items to find and purchase.
-eating/drinking functionality has been added to the inventory panel, and animations corresponding to each action are triggered when you feed your character
-stats are displayed in numeric form in the inventory window
-an HP bar pops up momentarily for anything (props or zombies) damaged in the world, so you can see how many hit points it has left
-the main character now gets bloody when injured.
