Is there an easy way to keep a single segment of an entity from being rendered in both the PR pipleline and the D3D pipleline? Gary Edited by - Gary on September 24, 2001 5:21:41 AM

You can remove the FLAG_VISIBLE from the segment after transforming the entity.

seg->flags &= ~FLAG_VISIBLE;

This is best for the D3D pipeline because only the bounding boxes have been transformed. With the PR pipeline you''ve already transformed the vertices if the bbox was visible.

For the PR pipeline you could set the number of faces and vertices in the segment to 0 temporarily.
