Hi, I have some dlls and I have an interface between these and my main application, what I'm wanting to do is be-able to get a marker on these dlls so I can store the types in a dictionary for when I need to create/invoke them.
For example, before I moved over to dlls these were embedded classes and each had a static which returned a string like "Animal" or "Vehicle", so is there anyway to be-able to enforce by contract that a dll must contain a static method or member? Obviously you're unable to do this with interfaces but I'd like the option to be-able to query this information without the need to create an instance of the class before hand.
My main application has no knowledge of "Animal" or "Vehicle" but these tags are used in my main application to act as a delegate between varying dlls.
Thanks.
