direct draw: stretch a portion of a 2nd surface

Hi all, While blitting from secondary surface to primary, if source and dest rect differ, stretch is performed on the target surface. This works well if I want to copy ALL my secondary to primary. Consider the case where I want to copy only a portion of the secondary surface to the primary. I know which part of the source rect I need to copy but I don''t know which rectangle will be the (stretched) dest one..I mean I cannot identify dest left and top with precision since I don''t know exactly the scaling algo..Any ideas? thanks, bye, adam
