Camera settings in FPS games

Hi guys,

I want to create an FPS game, i have difficulty in setting camera property, for example fov (field of view), znear (near clipping plane), and zfar (far clipping plane).
I google every where but still can't find some standard that often used in FPS game, for example fov=60 degree, znear=0.4f , zfar=100.0f
Is anyone know about this? can you also give an example of any fps game that using those camera properties?

Near and far clip values depend on the unit scale of the game. FOV is normally anywhere between 60 and 90.

The reason you will not find any standard values for these is because they depend on the game. Is there a particular reason you are looking for standard values rather than experimenting with what works for you game?
