Looking to integrate collisions in game, ideas?

[font="verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif"][size="2"]Hey guys, I've been working on a game for the last few months. Getting to the collisions phase (been putting it off for a month now) and I'm needing a good physics library or some resources for implementing it myself.


The game looks like:

The ship collides with the walls (which data is stored in a 2d array, so I can use that to generate bounding boxes or whatever). I've implemented some basic collisions with for x and y checking with a box, but if you hit a corner... Tunneling out the rear end. So I have no idea how to do it right. Any insight?

We're also going to be doing some basic collisions with a 2d circle between the ship. Bouncing off the 'sun' in the game, as detailed in this video.

I checked out Farseer. Seems legit. Looks complicated, as I couldn't find any legitimate tutorials.
