Ok, i know some basic dos C++ from taking a 3 week course over the summer. The algorithms came easily and it wasn''t too bad, and I''m wanting to get a book right now about another subject, such as OpenGL, Direct3D, DirectX, etc. There is only one problem: I have NO CLUE what i should start out with. Eventually, I want to have the ability to do something such as join a mod team for Q3A (I''ll leave which team anonymous ) but I''m not sure what you even have to know to be able to join one of dem big teams. Any help to a newbie?
