OpenGL [Please Delete] Drawing Objects with Shaders?

I have 5 objects. Each has it's own VBO.

How do I draw these objects side by side, when the vertices are relative to the objects origin oppose to the words origin?

Generally in OpenGL 1.1 I would Translate before drawing the objects.
However since that has been deprecated what is the best way to do that in OpenGL 3.1 ?
