DX11 [DX11] How to instruct D3DX11CompileFromFile() to generate an output listing?

Running fxc.exe with shader profile, entry point, and file name as command line parameters will generate a useful output listing with details of the compilation. Is there a way to instruct D3DX11CompileFromFile() to generate this same output listing? I had assumed the output would be put into the error blob, but it's not - at least not by default. I'm using the "fx_5_0" profile for the 5th parameter.

You have to use D3DDisassemble function though I'm not sure that it will not work directly with fx_5_0 but with ps_5_0/vs_5_0. If it is not working with fx_5_0, you will have probably to get a blob/bytecode for each VS/PS stages defined in techniques/passes.
