Circle line intersection time

[]I am trying some sliding with a 2d circle on multipleclines (any angles) . When desciding which one is closest i have to solve the smallest t of all lines. Today i use a loop with small delta movements to get intersection time, but i think this is a slow process... Anyone have a good method for a circle with velocity against line? All in 2d.[/]

you can also do a "sphere line intersection" search in this forum and find the equation that does the trick. I ran into the same challenge myself about a year ago.
