Problem Rendering to Texture

[color="#000000"]I am a set of tiles to a texture to avoid redrawing each tile every time. For some reason, when rendering to the texture it seems I cannot go outside the bounds of what would be my screen size (my texture is bigger than the screen). Any ideas why that should happen?

[color=#000000]I am creating a new ID3D10DepthStencilView[color=#000000], but using the same ID3D10Device[color=#000000].
