Transform feedback buffer Mapping

I have a problem with Transform Feedback (TF). I know that TF enables us to get data in the middle out of the rendering pipeline by using glMapBuffer (or glGetBufferSubData), for instance. Now, I want to send this data to a different computer, then map it back to a buffer for further processing. So, is there any way to map the data back to a buffer in this case?

To be clearer, I illustrate my situation as following:

Input ---> Vertex shader -----> Geometry shader ------> Transform feedback buffer

I find it pretty tricky to map the data back to the buffer as it now has changed pretty much compared with the input after vertex processing and geometry processing.

If anyone know please tell me. Any help is highly appreciated.
