I currently trying to make a terrain system in isometric view. The tiles, instead of just being a flat surface, there will be heights. pretty much like this tutorial right here: http://www.yarrcade.com/2010/09/19/terrain-modificatio-in-grid-based-games-part-1-isometric-landscape/. The points and polygons(rectangles in this case) are in 3D space. They are then projected to the camera. Everything works fine up to this point. My question is how do I perform texture mapping to the tiles? I read some article over texture mapping. They are over perspective correct texture mapping, but isometric view does not involve with perspective. I am pretty new to 3D graphic programming, and I am just trying to do this in software. What are some other method or good read you guys recommended?
