Cloning animated skinned X Mesh

Hi,

How can make or clone an instance of an animated skinned mesh? Static mesh uses CloneMesh() function I dont know how to clone an animated skinned mesh? Can the D3DXFRAME be animated?

I am creating a sort of a resource loader, and i want my mesh (skinned or static) only load from file once, and everytime a client request for an instance of that mesh it will just make a copy of the previously loaded object.

How can i do this?

Hi,

With the same function CloneMesh() you can clone it. You must clone it on the method CreateMeshContainer on your ID3DXAllocateHierarchy implements.
