I am making a game which is a borderline learning app. Which I plan to release cross platform.
I plan to release it free and people can add content for free or charge for it(and i get a cut).

I know there are ways for web pages to make transactions. Though I have been unable to see how to do it directly in game.

I google searched and all I could find were people discussing morals of micro transactions.

It seems like the only way I can think of doing it is by embedding a web browser and linking to google checkout or paypal. Which is not ideal.

Any commentary on how I get my cut of cash and send it to the content creator would be great too, or how financially viable transactions will be are welcome.

I appreciate any help or comments you can give me.

I'm not aware of any micro-transaction API's for C++ (although I'm sure there are) what I can tell you though, is if you want to be going with the model of "Free to play, with mtx" then you'd want to be getting as many players as possible. Ideally millions. Now getting millions of people to download/install your game will be quite hard without some serious marketing or already having a giant fanbase.

However, if you were to make it a flash game, you could very easily reach millions of players. Even mediocre flash games easily get around 500k views. There are some examples of flash games with mtx in this article.

There are also numerous mtx API's for flash but I believe GamerSafe is the best one.
