Would be good for a game in the graphical style of Leage of Legends or Dungeon Runners (no longer going :( )? I've been out of the loop for awhile, has anything new come along in the last year? The last few engines I messed around with were Irrlicht and Panda3D. I'm looking for something quick and simple, that handles just graphics, although anything else would be a plus.

If you look for a rendering engine then you can evaluate Ogre; anyway, as you said, Panda3D is a complete game engine. The games you cited are feasible with these engines, fundamentally they take your stuff and pass it to the GPU (warning: very rough description). So, it depends on if you are capable of producing those assets and code (models, shaders, ...). Anyway, some engines also give you some shaders so you don't need to code them.
PS In the last year Panda3D has improved very much, I don't know about other engines, though.
