SDL_Surface from embedded resource?

Hello,

A rather simple question, probably a bit of a rought answer though =\
Is there a way to create a SDL_Surface from an embedded resource in C++?
Maybe from bytes saved to an external file?

I'm mainly looking for any way that would allow a game to function using SDL without having to pack all the graphics along with it.

Is there anything like that that can be supported by SDL?

Bump.
Anyone? Maybe a solution not through SDL? Maybe it's possible in some way to write out the files' bytes into a text file and use those to reconstruct the files in a temporary folder once the project runs? Would that be possible?
