How to use ID3DXEffect in Custom EVR Presenter?

I'm trying to use Effect Framework in Custom EVR Presenter. However, ID3DXEffect need a IDirect3DTexture9 parameter while EVR Presenter can only display IDirect3DSurface9. How can i dislay the frame with IDirect3dTexture9.

In addition, pSurface->GetContainer(IID_IDirect3DTexture9,...) return E_NOINTERFACE.

I will be very appreciated for your help.

  • [font=arial,helvetica,sans-serif]Create an empty Texture by CreateTexture[/font]
  • [font=arial,helvetica,sans-serif]LockRect in the surface[/font]
  • [font=arial,helvetica,sans-serif]LockRect in the texture[/font]
  • [font=arial,helvetica,sans-serif]Copy data into this texture[/font]
  • [font=arial,helvetica,sans-serif]UnlockRect twice[/font]
