I have a view, as a player, but I will wait a little until stating it. Some advantages/disadvantages (from the player point of view), are:

- Micro-payments allow you to play with a very low, or zero, budget.
- Monthly fees allow you to pay when you are playing, and can take a pause any time.
- Annual fees are less work. Get it done with, and no worry to have to transfer money frequently.
- Both annual and monthly fees have the advantage of being more fair. Everyone gets the same conditions.
