Hi!

I'm very exited to present you our indie Action/RPG game called "Exoplanet: First Contact" that is focused on single-player experience, like old good Morrowind and Gothic for instance.

The game is set in a Space Western universe.
In Exoplanet: FC we have brought together distinctive elements of Wild West, futuristic technologies and feudal society of a distant human colony, placed on a wild and dangerous planet named K'Tarsis.

x4_Howdah.png

This ugly but powerful gun was crafted by a local gunsmith from spare parts of two different models.
The lower two barrels are made from some more advanced shotgun and have modern mechanism: their strikers are cocked automatically as the action is closed.
The upper two barrels have older system: the shooter must cock it's exposed hammers manually.
There is no safety catch, but this disadvantage is partially compensated by the trigger, that is rather hard to pull. Initially there is also no extractor, so it takes about 2 seconds to reload the gun.
The x4 Howdah is designed to fire from two barrels at once (two lower than two upper barrels) with each pull of the trigger.
Detachable custom buttstock gives you additional stability and better recoil reduction (useful in combination with some specific ammo types) but excludes dual wield usage as a “pistol”.

It is notable, that some natives of K'tharsis are really fond of this type of guns, because they believe, that a bigger gun is a better one, and the big gun with many barrels is the best.
So you can find them using this model and other types of howdahs, decorated with intricate native ornaments and fetishes, which should magically improve the combat capabilities of the guns.

Creating this gun, we were inspired by the concept of real old howdah pistols, designed for hunters to be an emergency defense against big dangerous animals. It looks ugly, has painful recoil but it saves your life.

Now imagine yourself carrying 2 of them in your hands, each loaded with some special ammo, e.g. incendiary and antigravium-shots.
First make your enemies to levitate helplessly then set them on fire so they will regret they were born to this world!

Jack Sharp

Main_Hero_Jack1.png

You start your adventures on K’Tharsis as Jack Sharp, a space nomad and skilled gunslinger, who was unfortunate enough to land on this remote and dangerous planet.

Jack does not talk much about his past, he is mostly concerned about his present. Oh his old but sturdy freighter starship he roams the borders of the Known Space in search for work and loot sometimes going beyond the law.

He may seem to be a lazy and phlegmatic lad, even a simple-minded person, but first impression is deceptive. Behind this mask he hides keen intellect and explosive temper. All sort of conflicts and adventures make him shine. Jack likes to risk and needs some challenge to show his best features. Actually his big ego and thirst for money could have already caused his death many times if there were no phenomenal luck on his side. His tongue is quick but so are his hands: Jack never hesitates to make his guns an ultimate argument in a hard conversation. Sometimes he is a real badass.

However Jack is rather an antihero and the last thing he is thinking about is to save other people lives and doing things for free, he has his own code of honor and couldn't be called a real scoundrel.

After his arrival on K’Tharsis our hero has lost his starship and was enslaved by some criminals. Jack must recover his freedom and avenge his foes. He must explore the dangerous planet and its darkest secrets and become a part of epic events and fascinating stories!

The site's design looks great, and I think you sectioned it off good too. I really like the RPG System. I like the fact that there aren't any stats, because you won't have to worry about grinding. The game focuses on more on skills and talents, which I think is kool. I also like the key feature where you can mix talents to create a new one.

Thanks!

I really appreciate you liked our site!

RPG system is planed to be not difficult and not simple. Different players could use or not use it.

It is good for different players either they want more action without looking deep at character "building" or they may be evolved in crafting their unique hero with unique gameplay style!

We really trying to make it flexible and interesting, I hope gamers will like it when they check it =)
