I wrote a Brightness/Contrast shader for a video display ( HLSL / Direct3D9 / SlimDX )
Now the client is asking me to apply a post_kuwahara edge-enhancement shader on top of that .

How do I use 2 pixel shaders in conjunction ? ( on the same rendered texture )

Hi,

You can't use 2 pixel shaders in the same time.

Either

- write a pixel shader which does both things Brightness/Contrast/Edge-enhancement (if possible)

or

- keep the shaders separated and use them in separate passes, you'll need a second render target for the second pass. That is, Brightness/Contrast writes to the first render target then the edge enhancement pixel shader reads the first render target as source and writes to the second render target.

Cheers!
