Multiple views like VRML/XJ3D

Recommended Posts

Hello,

is it possible to have multiple cameras and you can select one of them on the viewport, without splitting?

Thanks you.

What does "without splitting" mean?

For sure, you can use the projection matrix, glViewport and glScissor to render what distinct "cameras" see into a single OpenGL view.

It means to have not a window splitted each one with a camera, but i want select one of them on the viewport.

Still doesn't make sense. Type a more in depth explanation because your translator is not translating properly. You can have as many cameras as you want (its just swapping out matrices at run time).

There are no cameras in OpenGL, you can create as many of your own camera objects as you want and use them in any way you want.

if(camera1)
{
glMultMatrixf(Camera1Matrix);
}
if(camera2)
{
glMultMatrixf(Camera2Matrix);
}

//Draw the object
glRotatef().....objects rotation
glTranslatef().....objects translation
glScalef()............objects scale
