So, basically, I've been producing music for years. And pretty much it just sits on my harddrive and no one ever even hears it.

And then I was thinkin, I bet the game community would really appreciate some good quality music. And then 5 years later, it was now, and I was sitting at my computer listening to my music, and feeling bad that people are so deprived of t.

Ok, I'm exagerating a bit. People aren't SO deprived. Just somewhat deprived.

Anyway, I just wanted to gague the interest the community might have in free music. Well, free accept for maybe a mention in the credits. Or a new car. If someone felt inclined to give me a new car in exchange for music, I wouldn't complain.

So anyway, I've attached three exemplar tracks, all seamlessly loopy with the tail wrapped back around for seamless loopyness. Three very different moods/atmospheres/feelings/etc.

Listen and let me know--would this stuff be useful to game developers?

Because there is so much of it just sitting there in dark, neglected, musty, cobwebby folders on my harddrive.

You're on a forum occupied by composers trying to make a living (or at least a buck) offering their services to video game developers, and you're asking how they would like if you offered your music to their potential clients for free. I'm curious what answers you're expecting.

Please use the classifieds section to promote your work for both paid and hobby projects. I'm closing this thread as the Music and Sound forum is for discussion, feedback and sharing one's work - not trying to land jobs/projects.

Thanks!
