Today we at Valroware have released the tech demo for our upcoming game, 9th Dawn. You can find it on the Google Play market for Android devices for free. Please check it out and feel free to post any comments, concerns, questions, bugs, suggestions, etc. on our forums or send them to use via email at support@valorware.com. We are trying to gather a substantial amount of technical feedback to find any potential device incompatibilities, fatal errors, and resolution problems. We really appreciate any feedback we can get, not only to try and fix any bugs, but also to gauge public interest and satisfaction with our work. Hope you find it enjoyable and are eager to play the full game when we finish it.

Here is the link to our market page:

Or search for "9th Dawn" on your Google Play app search bar :)

Thanks for your support!

It was made with Marmalade

Very nicely done--didn't notice any significant bugs on a few first passes, though the persistent cursor on the screen should probably go away. The controls took a little getting used to--combat against multiple adversaries was certainly difficult, but that's not necessarily a criticism. I thought the equipment menu was a bit confusing, but overall a solid start. I tried it both on my phone (Droid Bionic) and my Xoom. Played well on both, didn't experience any force closes or notice any lag.

Good job, looking forward to updates!

Thank you for taking the time to test the game, modemancer, it's great to hear your feedback. We've had a few comments on confusing controls/menus, it's good to hear you agree with them, we'll be working to improve those areas! And thanks for testing it on 2 droids, glad to hear they both ran fine!
