When I pan the camera into a certain place, fps instantly drops from 60 to 27 and stays like that til the program closes. I experimented something and following action makes it happens.

1) enable pixel fog for alpha-blending object and render two or more alpha-blending objects. Those alpha-blending objects have animated texture which is in fact a linked list of .jpg/.png files. And having the number of animation to more than 10 images per linked list causes it too.

2) I just started working on terrains, and having more than 10x10 vertexes will cause to problem too.

Can anyone help?

Optimizations are at the moment also being discussed on another thread, see this reply on how to start profiling.

Enabling the OpenGL API flags GL_LINE_SMOOTH and GL_POINT_SMOOTH can severely effect your FPS if you have an insane number of points and/or lines rendering. Play around with what you have and see what performance increase/detail decrease you get.
