What do yall think about sites like clipart.com?

Is it worth it to subscribe here to get your game art?

If one of these sites has art that meets your needs, at a price that's acceptable to you, and with licencing conditions that meet your needs, then it's definitely an option worth considering. I haven't used clipart.com personally, but I have purchased artwork for non-game projects from GraphicRiver in the past and would not hesitate to do so for a game if appropriate artwork was available.

Be sure to check the available licence conditions before purchasing anything however, as the artwork will be useless to you if you do not have the legal rights to use it in the ways you want.

It may also be worth while finding out how much it would cost to contract an artist specifically for your project -- although this is potentially a very expensive option, it can also sometimes be less expensive than you might think.

Hope that helps! smile.png
