Because I used dx 10 untill now,I was pretty happy with the mesh interface, but I just found out that the mesh interface is gone in Dx11.

I tried to search the web for some tutorial on loading and animating some models but no succes! Can someone help with a link to a tutorial or something that demonstrates loading a model and animating it?(walking, etc.)

For loading i suggest using a library instead of writing an importer. That way you need to deal with one interface instead of having to write and maintain importers for every format. I prefer the Assimp library, which is very easy to use and is well documented. If for some reason you want to load the files manually, you can just google the file format you're interested in and chances are you'll find someone explaining how to load it.

As for the animation, i always link to this paper. It explains the theory behind the animation and how it's done in DX9, so you can easily write your own code based on it. If you choose to use Assimp to load animated data, i give a description of how to put everything together here.

Good luck!
