If I don't SetTrackAnimationSet()?

If I don't call this method of D3DXANIMATIONCONTROLLER, will the skinnedmesh be stationary?
Since there is no active track?
Sorry for not attempting, because my code base has collapsed...

That API call binds a D3DX animation set to a specified track on a D3DX animation controller. If you don't have any animation sets bound to tracks and you don't call SetTrackAnimationSet, then the AdvanceTime() call will not do anything because there will be no active tracks to process. So the short answer to your question is "Yes - the skinned mesh will be stationary". Edited by Steve_Segreto
