Im working on a 3D modelling program. I use things from 3DS Max like the ViewCube and TransformGizmo. Its not likely that they ever gonna hear about my little app but Im curious if can things like this be copyrighted or not. If yes, then how can you modify them so its not a problem?

Do you mean that you actually copied files out of Max, or did you just copy their ideas and remake them yourself?

No. I stole the ideas, I did the implementation myself.
