GameSoundCon 2012 San Francisco
October 24/25
$50 Discount for GameDev.net readers!

Hi GameDev.net'ers:

This October 24/25, we'll be returning to San Francisco for our 8th GameSoundCon, conference and seminar on videogame music and sound design.

Sessions
GameSoundCon is a 2-day concentrated conference and seminar on game music and sound production, featuring sessions and panels from some of the top names in game audio from companies such as Sony, Microsoft, Ubisoft, FMOD and more. We cover the detailed technical, creative, production and business challenges of working in the game industry as a composer or sound designer. The main sessions will cover a lot of the questions I see here on gamedev.net in depth (and much more!).

FMOD Hands-on Training:
In addition to the sessions and panels, we have 2 dedicated days of hands-on training with the all-new FMOD Studio (hot off the presses from FMOD) and FMOD Designer. Stephan Schutze (host of FMOD TV) will be flying in from Australia for this rare hands-on class.

Networking
We are also hosting our annual GameSoundCon networking Mixer on the evening of the 24th, following the first day of the conference. Mix and Mingle with speakers, panelists, other GameSoundCon attendees and local Game Audio professionals.

Use the code, GAMEDEV, and receive an additional $50 off earlybird registration (Earlybird Registration runs through Sept 28).
