- What does it mean to "be creative"?
- How does one "be creative"?
When you're creating a game, people tend to say you need to be creative about a concept, and then work more out of that.
- Does it mean, that thinking of something outside of what the rest of the group were thinking of, is not "being creative"?
For the last question:
Recently, I've been ousted for not thinking "creatively". 4 of us were at a meeting together. 3 people had all agreed upon a single concept in mind, and I was an outcast. I was thinking of another concept that wasn't what they were thinking. I was tasked to lay out the bare bones of the concept, and I went with it, without even realizing that I was thinking of something other than what they were thinking of, and nobody told me about it until just then. We were all nodding and saying "yep", "this one", "right", etc., so I probably misunderstood something in between.
