I find this guy amazing with what he can build. Even though he is using "toys" here, the precision is amazing

By coincidence I just saw the miniature version of this machine on YouTube on my own just yesterday. It was called “Ball Factory”. It starts the same way but is about 10 times simpler than this.

It was fun watching this and the original was so fun that it prompted me to buy over $300 worth of LEGO Technic® yesterday.

While browsing through sets yesterday I also stumbled upon this one:

If possible, that is something I would definitely buy. Not as technical as the ball factory, but very professional in quality.

My parents didn’t realize the impact their Christmas gift would have on my life when I was 7. That first LEGO ambulance would make such an impact on me that my very name, “L. Spiro”, is actually directly related to LEGO Technic®; I wouldn’t even have this name if not for LEGO (and this is the first time I have ever stated the origin of my name; not even my closest childhood friends know about this).

I love LEGO Technic® and it was a fun video to watch. I literally watched hours of LEGO Technic® videos yesterday, but that one and the one I posted rank highest.
One is great technology, the other is great craftsmanship. I hope I have enough time on my hands in the future to make something like those.

I saw this a couple of weeks ago and am still amazed! Rube Goldberg would be proud!
Yep, really amazing.

Well they do now :P

Lego is not a toy. Just to know.
I'm into Technic at these times (that's why I'm out of programming these times).

On the day I mentioned I watched hours of LEGO videos I stumbled upon that one also.
The same guy later teamed up with another British guy and together they made this:

The world record.

As I mentioned in my other thread, this item is in the mail. Days before buying that I also bought this 4×4 Crawler.
I just spent over $1,000 on LEGO® in 1 week. Yes, they can be expensive.

Expensive if you look at it as a child's toy. But if you look at it as a hobby (for adults), you'll find it's not more expensive than other hobbies.
