More cloth modeling - constraints

Recommended Posts

First of all thanks to all of you who have helped me out so far! This time I have reached the constraints part of my paper, and there are some new problems arising. -What constraint method should I choose for my real-time environment and why?? (Reduced coordinates, Penalty methods, Lagrange multipliers, Mass modification ++) -Where does the constraint fit in the model? -Will it be a part of the integration scheme (I''m using implicit Backward Euler)? -How do constraints perform (computational cost)? -What happends if we drop everything with constraints AND -is there another way of constraining the model without using the already proposed schemes (Reduced coordinates, Penalty methods, Lagrange multipliers, Mass modification ++)? thanks again
