Me and my freinds in high school are essentially back benchers, and lately we are creating a fantasy, action rpg on school life (our school) using rpg maker vx.
The game may contain utter disrespect to many teachers (bosses) and to the principle (super boss). We will be sharing the game free with the fellow students only, but still, is it a good idea to release it among the students? Can it strain a student teacher relationship? ( If somehow the prefects, or maybe the teachers play it ?)
And most important - Can it strain our acedemic career?
Is it okay to pun my school teachers in my small vedio game?
Can being "utterly disrespectful" towards a teacher strain a student-teacher relationship or strain your academic career.... I think that's pretty self explanatory, unless your teacher has a very good sense of humour
If any of the "disrespectful" content is untruthful, or designed to maliciously damage the teacher's reputation, then sharing it would be libelous.

Actually, the game is designed as a fantasy adventure of a student, after almost everything is corrupted by the 'demon controlling the headmaster'. The story has got a good reaction from many comrades. But there is a fear about our reputation with the teachers. (In their eyes, We are naughty, but not evil ;-) )
The game is not created to hurt anybody... It's just an average student's imagination.

You could always just ask the teachers what they think about it, and make up characters for the ones that refuse.
Absent that, I would probably only include the characters based on your teachers in cameo roles, not as major antagonists. It's easy for what you think is gentle teasing to make the subject unhappy.

I'm a high school programming teacher myself actually. I'd recommend against using real people in your game. You could always have a couple similarity traits represented without blatantly being disrespectful.. eg. "The crazy wood shop teacher" character
If you go with a light-hearted route rather than vindictive or spiteful that will make all the difference in the world. At the end of the day students will get it and teachers won't be so offended as long as the traits you pick aren't hurtful. I guess what I'm saying.. avoid characters like "The super fatass divorced drunk history teacher who has fantasies about his students and is addicted to child porn".

Thank you, Michael Tanczos and Khaiy, I will find a solution by your methods
But I still fear the anger of my Headmaster.... He is strict about such things.
He is very unpopular among the students, and his ways landed up the headmaster character as the super boss.
He will not appreciate such odasity...
I will have to measure out ways so that the game should not reach him.

With their permission and removing their real personality traits from the fictional characters, and having all of the teachers in your game, I think it should be okay. I mean, every teachers should be equally "evil", and unrecognisable apart from their names.
Maybe...
Maybe...
If you want to make a joke about someone, that is what you want to do. But, you really shouldn't talk bad about people, as we learn here. All jokes aside, that is quite immature, to go around and make a satire about a fellow adult, and not just any satire, but a spiteful angry exaggerated composition that you spread to other people, most likely containing lies and unkind words. Don't do it.
