Hello, Im in the midst of developing one of my first windows apps. Its purpose is to simply change text file formats between dos/unix/mac. For the user to supply the path of the file to convert, I want he/she to simply be able to drag the file from explorer into a text field. I''ve set ''Accept Files'' in the text fields control properties, but of course when I try to drag a file into the text field nothing occurs obviously because I have no coding done to handle this operation. How do I accomplish such a feat with the Windows API and C? Ciphersoftware website

To do this you will need to use COM. COM is a hairy beast with lots of subtleties to it, and is definitely not recommended for beginners.

EDIT: A subtle spelling-mistake
