help with texture type switching

i was wondering if someone could take a look at some code. Im trying to make a program with a texture type switcher using three arrays, one for each type and using a vaiable inplace of the array number so i can select different textures in another function i wrote for polygons. i got the beef of it it''s just i think i have something wrong in the loading of my textures

Here''s a sample code. I''ve only keept the lines for chossing a filter to apply to the BMP

int Filter[2] = { GL_NEAREST , GL_LINEAR };


int Load_BMP(int Effect)
{
etc ...
glTexParameteri(GL_TEXTURE_2D,GL_TEXTURE_MIN_FILTER,Filter[Effect]);
glTexParameteri(GL_TEXTURE_2D,GL_TEXTURE_MAG_FILTER,Filter[Effect]);
etc ..
}
