C++ or Visual Basic ?

Hi Friends I am starting to learn about game develop. What is better to create games (with quality), C++ or Visual Basic ? Thanks in advance. Anderstar

VB is easier to learn and has faster development time
C/C++ will lead to better programming habits, reusable knowledge, and better future potential. You know Microsoft is nuking VB as it''s known now in a short while anyway? Furthermore, C/C++ work on virtually any platform, and produce higher speed code. Sure, they seem hard to learn, but they''re well worth it. Besides, then you can make fun of the VB-only programmers like the rest of us C/C++ programmers (j/k ).
