I've got to do this thing for school where the user has to be able to type something in, like a name, and I have to do some processing with that name. I want to do this in a window, so they could click File->Add Name and the window would display the text, "Please enter the name:" I'm not sure what to do after that, since I can't just type cin >>. Any thoughts? Edited by - Megatron on October 17, 2001 5:23:07 PM

I don''t think this can be explained on one page or in less than an hour. Guess you''ll have to learn the Win32 API.
