SetRenderState() and SetTextureStageState info

I''ve been thinkering around with directx and by changing states by using SetTextureStageState() SetRenderState() but I still don''t know all of the things that I can change. FOr example, the parameters that I could pass for the two above. Does anyone know of a good website that explains for example: g_pDevice->SetTextureStageState(0,D3DTSS_COLOROP,D3DTOP_SELECTARG1); would do? Or perhaps even a link to the mssdk .chm file if it exists in there as well. Thanks in advance!

The D3d8 help file lists all of the options you can do. Search for the operations and you shall recieve a large list of options.
