Hello, I''m looking for Articles, code, middleware or ANY kind of information on racing physics and dynamics for a 3d racing game. Anyone know of a good place to start looking? return 1;

racing physics doesn''t have to be special. One thing you may want to consider doing if you don''t want to be to detailed is this...

First, you will have the mass of the car, then calculate the center of gravity of it, then what you would want to do is determine the load being placed on each tire, then you can do basic physics calculations to determine some things like acceleration etc. and lateral force being applied when going around a turn. Then after you have calculated the weight distribution correct you could add an engine, there are some racing equations that would be of help here, like figuring out horsepower etc. make something that looks and reacts good, there are many ways to go about this but this could be one way... if you have any questions email me at oglfreak@hotmail.com
