I get a runtime error saying "Debug assertion failed" before the application (DirectX app) terminates.It refers to number 53 in the ''vfprintf.c'' file.. Ok I use vfprintf for logging to a file in my prog. If I comment those lines it runs perfect. Haven''t got any code on this comp but if you think you can help me just tell me and I''ll post.. Would appreciate any help I can get! It has something to do with the file loading routine or something.. I don''t know. Oh yeah in the same box "str != NULL" shows up. Hhmmmmm! I''m clueless.. /Sandman

Looks like the FILE-pointer you''re passing to it is NULL.

int __cdecl vfprintf (
FILE *str,
const char *format,
va_list ap
// [...]

_ASSERTE(str != NULL); // this is line 53

_ASSERTE(format != NULL);
// [...]
