how do the texID work in OpenGL ?? and other texture related questions

I''m trying to use a bunch of targa truevision file as texture to aplie to some quads I''m currently using an array of TextureImage as seen in NEHE tutorial 30. I would also aprciate any help on saving the alpha chanel of a targa file in photoshop or PaintShop Pro. thanks in advence for your thoughts God''''s in his heave all is right with the world - NERVE

On my site, I''ve a little example who use alpha channel from PSP in a TGA file for displaying a tree.
