Sound and Visualizations
I''m using DirectShow to play Mp3s and using Direct3D to render visualizations, so here is my question. How do you other mp3 players (i.e WinAmp) get the visualizations to change based on the music. Like when there is a big boom in the music. I''m guessing there is a huge variety of ways to do this. Thanks.
Sorry I have no answer for your question. In fact I found this post when I was searching here for a solution on exactly the same problem.
Using Dshow:
Is there any way I can read the amplitude of the sound being rendered? This data is ment to be used to create a vu-meter, EQ visual render etc etc.
Thank you very much in advance.
