why the default font face between D3DXCreateFont and D3DXCreateFontIndirect is different

i set D3DXCreateFont's pFacename parameter to NULL or "" and not set FaceName member of D3DXFONT_DESC structure used by D3DXCreateFontIndirect to discover that
