problem on zbuffer

I have problem on zbuffer order. If I try to render some object in a world in inverse order of near with camera, the system don''t re-order faces and let me see far object in front and near object in rear. I''ve tryed my program on a Intel video card and the problem don''t appen. If I try to run the same program on a Voodoo3 3000 video card the problem appen. Everyone has soluction on my problem ?
