Unexpected line movement

I'm using the following code to draw a straight line:


void render_line()
      D3DXVECTOR3 vPoints[2];
      vPoints[0] = D3DXVECTOR3(0.0f, 0.0f, 0.0f);
      vPoints[1] = D3DXVECTOR3(0.0f, 1000.0f, 0.0f);
      device->DrawPrimitiveUP(D3DPT_LINELIST, 1, vPoints, sizeof(D3DXVECTOR3));


I see that the line is moving down! In the code I'm not moving the line, just giving static position though the line is moving.

And how do you do that?

I bet that last world matrix is not set to identity.
