Convolution

I'm trying to use a convolution filter for face detection. I have a 30x30 matrix that i'm trying to convolute with the texture but i'm getting a black texture

Have you verified that you can actually use such a large filter, because I see no error checking in your code. The standard only requires up to 3x3 filters to be supported, and anything beyond that is implementation defined.

On Linux, you can run this to find out the limits:

glxinfo -l | grep GL_MAX_CONVOLUTION

 

But you should definitely get in the habit of building error handling into your code.
