Hi guys,

I want to know if a UI editor is widely be used in mobile game development? What role it plays, is it designed for game producer or developer?

For cocos2d games there is cocos builder which was primarily used as a UI editor but I think its been extended into a full scene editor now. It is fairly close to the developer though because allthough its a graphical editor a lot of the names you give to buttons and views need to be refferenced in code.
